Pendleton Whisky Glazed Salmon

  • - 3 tbsp Brown Sugar

    - 3 tbsp Pendleton Whisky

    - 2 tbsp Soy Sauce (Low-Sodium)

    - 1 tbsp Fresh Grated Peeled Ginger

    - 1 tbsp Fresh Lime Juice

    - 3 Garlic Cloves, Minced

    - 1/4 tsp Ground Black Pepper

    - 4 (6 oz) salmon fillets

    - 1/4 cup sliced green onions

    - 1 tbsp sesame seeds

    - Olive Oil or Avocado Oil

  • Step 1: Combine everything but the sesame seeds, green onion and olive oil in a large zip-lock bag or mixing bowl. Add fish to bag; seal. Marinate in the refrigerator or cooler for at least 1.5 hours, turning occasionally.

Step 2: Heat a well-seasoned cast iron or non-stick skillet over medium high heat with 1 tbsp of olive oil. Add fish and marinade to pan; cook fish 4 minutes each side or until flakey and medium-rare. Drizzle each filet with leftover sauce in pan and top with green onions and sesame seeds.

Step 3: Pour yourself a glass of Pendleton Whisky, serve with your favorite vegetables and enjoy!
